Welcome to VeriCert@TechXplore! This guide will help you get started with our certificate generation system.

Creating Your Account

  1. Visit our sign-up page
  2. Enter your email address and create a password
  3. Verify your email address by clicking the link sent to your inbox
  4. Complete your profile information

Free Plan Features

With the free plan, you can:

  • Create 1 program (e.g., workshop, conference, training)
  • Generate up to 25 certificates for that program
  • Customize certificates with your own background, logo, and text
  • Send certificates via email or download as JPG files
  • Enable certificate verification

Navigating the Dashboard

After logging in, you'll see your dashboard with the following sections:

  • Programs: Create and manage your certificate programs
  • Certificates: View and manage generated certificates
  • Recipients: Manage your certificate recipients
  • Settings: Update your account and organization details

Creating a Program

  1. From your dashboard, click on "Programs" in the navigation menu
  2. Click the "Create New Program" button
  3. Enter the program details:
    • Program Name (e.g., "Web Development Workshop 2025")
    • Program Description
    • Program Date(s)
    • Organization Name
  4. Click "Save Program" to create your program

Designing Certificate Layout

  1. After creating a program, click on "Design Certificate"
  2. Use the certificate editor to customize your certificate layout:
    • Upload a background image
    • Add your organization logo
    • Add signature(s)
    • Customize text elements
  3. Preview your certificate design
  4. Click "Save Layout" when you're satisfied with the design

Adding Recipients

  1. From your program page, click on "Add Recipients"
  2. You can add recipients individually or in bulk:
    • Individual: Enter name, email, and any custom fields
    • Bulk: Upload a CSV file with recipient details
  3. Click "Save Recipients" to add them to your program

Generating Certificates

  1. Once you've added recipients, click on "Generate Certificates"
  2. Review the list of recipients who will receive certificates
  3. Click "Generate" to create certificates for all recipients
  4. Wait for the generation process to complete

Background Images

You can upload your own background image for certificates:

  • Recommended size: 1920 x 1080 pixels (16:9 ratio)
  • Supported formats: JPG, PNG
  • Maximum file size: 5MB
  • Use high-resolution images for best print quality

Adding Logos

Add your organization logo to certificates:

  • Recommended format: PNG with transparent background
  • Position the logo by dragging it to the desired location
  • Resize the logo using the handles

Adding Signatures

Add digital signatures to your certificates:

  • Upload signature images (PNG with transparent background recommended)
  • Add multiple signatures if needed (e.g., program director, organization head)
  • Position signatures by dragging them to the desired location
  • Add signature titles below each signature

Customizing Text

Customize the text elements on your certificates:

  • Certificate title
  • Award text (e.g., "This is to certify that")
  • Program description
  • Date format
  • Font style, size, and color

Using Dynamic Fields

Use dynamic fields to automatically insert recipient-specific information:

  • {name} - Recipient's name
  • {email} - Recipient's email
  • {date} - Certificate issue date
  • {program} - Program name
  • {id} - Certificate unique ID
  • Custom fields you define when adding recipients

Learn how to manage certificate recipients effectively.

Adding Individual Recipients

  1. From your program page, click on "Recipients" tab
  2. Click "Add Recipient"
  3. Enter the recipient's details:
    • Full Name
    • Email Address
    • Any custom fields you've defined
  4. Click "Save" to add the recipient

Bulk Import Recipients

  1. From your program page, click on "Recipients" tab
  2. Click "Bulk Import"
  3. Download the CSV template
  4. Fill in the template with recipient details
  5. Upload the completed CSV file
  6. Review the imported data for accuracy
  7. Click "Confirm Import" to add all recipients

Editing Recipient Details

  1. From the Recipients list, find the recipient you want to edit
  2. Click the "Edit" button next to their name
  3. Update their details as needed
  4. Click "Save Changes"
  5. If certificates have already been generated, you'll be prompted to regenerate them

Removing Recipients

  1. From the Recipients list, find the recipient you want to remove
  2. Click the "Remove" button next to their name
  3. Confirm the removal when prompted
  4. Note: This will also remove any certificates generated for this recipient

Sending Certificates via Email

  1. After generating certificates, go to the "Certificates" tab
  2. Select the certificates you want to send
  3. Click "Send via Email"
  4. Customize the email message if desired
  5. Click "Send" to deliver the certificates

Downloading Certificates

  1. From the "Certificates" tab, select the certificates you want to download
  2. Click "Download"
  3. Choose your preferred format (JPG)
  4. For multiple certificates, they will be downloaded as a ZIP file

Certificate Verification

Each certificate includes a unique verification code that recipients can use to verify authenticity:

  • The verification code is printed on each certificate
  • Recipients can visit the verification page on our website
  • Enter the verification code to confirm certificate authenticity
  • The verification page will display certificate details if valid

Sharing Verification Link

You can share the verification link with third parties who need to verify certificates:

  1. From your dashboard, go to "Settings"
  2. Find the "Verification" section
  3. Copy your unique verification URL
  4. Share this URL with employers, institutions, or other verifiers

Updating Profile Information

  1. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner
  2. Select "Profile Settings"
  3. Update your personal information as needed
  4. Click "Save Changes"

Changing Password

  1. Go to "Profile Settings"
  2. Click on the "Security" tab
  3. Enter your current password
  4. Enter and confirm your new password
  5. Click "Update Password"

Organization Settings

  1. Go to "Settings" in the main navigation
  2. Select the "Organization" tab
  3. Update your organization details:
    • Organization Name
    • Logo
    • Contact Information
  4. Click "Save Changes"

Upgrading Your Plan

  1. Go to "Settings" in the main navigation
  2. Select the "Subscription" tab
  3. View your current plan and usage
  4. Click "Upgrade Plan"
  5. Select the plan that meets your needs:
    • Premium Plan: ₹200 for 1 additional program with 100 certificates
    • Bulk Plan: ₹1000 for 5 additional programs with 100 certificates each
  6. Fill out the upgrade form
  7. Make payment via GPay to the provided number
  8. Your account will be upgraded within 24 hours after payment confirmation

Solutions to common issues you might encounter.

Certificate Generation Issues

  • Problem: Certificates not generating
    Solution: Ensure you have not exceeded your plan limits. Check that all recipient information is complete.
  • Problem: Background image not appearing
    Solution: Make sure your background image is in JPG or PNG format and under 5MB. Try uploading the image again.
  • Problem: Text overlapping or misaligned
    Solution: Adjust the position of text elements in the certificate editor. Reduce text size if necessary.

Email Delivery Issues

  • Problem: Recipients not receiving certificate emails
    Solution: Check that the email addresses are correct. Ask recipients to check their spam folders. You can also resend the certificates from the dashboard.
  • Problem: Email attachments too large
    Solution: If certificates have large file sizes, consider sending them in smaller batches or using the download option instead.

Account Issues

  • Problem: Forgot password
    Solution: Use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page to reset your password.
  • Problem: Account locked
    Solution: After multiple failed login attempts, your account may be temporarily locked. Wait 30 minutes and try again, or contact support.

Payment and Upgrade Issues

  • Problem: Payment made but account not upgraded
    Solution: If you've made a payment but your account hasn't been upgraded within 24 hours, contact support with your payment details.
  • Problem: Need more certificates than available in plans
    Solution: Contact us for custom pricing if you need more certificates than our standard plans offer.
